Publishing – Photography, Graphic design, Printing and Publication
These types of graphic design services are not usually included in the editing and writing process.
For that you’ll need a graphic designer, who can also manage the printing of your book. And not to be overlooked, is cover design. At LifeStory Writing we can steer you in the right direction. We can issue you with your own ISBN number if you wish.
Photos are another consideration — you may want a photographer to retouch and prepare (or Photoshop) images before they go to a graphic designer for laying out in a book. There is also promotion and marketing which most often falls back on the individual author, even if a major publisher takes up your book.
If you would like to self-publish (often called ‘indie’ publishing) you can manage this yourself (and we can point you the right direction).
